Since inception, ACIA has been actively involved in multiple industry leading trade organizations. These certifications allow us to stand out from the competition by staying ahead of ever changing industry practices and technology.

NADCA - National Air Duct Cleaners Association

NADCA: The HVAC Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Association, otherwise known as the National Air Duct Cleaners Association, was formed in 1989 as a nonprofit association of companies engaged in the clenaing of HVAC systems. ACIA has been an active member of NADCA since 2005, attending both annual meetings and fall technical conferences regularly. ACIA holds both the Air System Cleaning Specialist (ASCS) and the Ventilation System Mold Remediator (VSMR) certifications. Please click here to view our company certification. NAFA - National Air Filtration Association

The National Air Filtration Association is a nonprofit trade organization which is the global source for expertise, education and best practices in air filtration. ACIA has been actively involved with NAFA since 2018 when we obtained the Certified Air Filter Specialist (CAFS) accreditation. NAFA publishes a series of air filtration best practice guidelines which can be visited through this link.

AEE - Association of Energy Engineers

AEE’s Certified Indoor Air Quality Professional (CIAQP) program is designed to provide recognition for indoor air quality professionals who have demonstrated a high level competence in their field, and an in-depth knowledge of the principles and practices of indoor air quality assessment, design, management, and problem mitigation. Randy Leaman is one of only 109 people in the United States to carry this certification obtained in 1996.

IAQA - Indoor Air Quality Association

The Indoor Air Quality Association is dedicated to bringing practitioners together to prevent and solve indoor environmental problems for the benefit of consumers and the public. ACIA actively participates with IAQA to earn CEC’s and stay abreast of changes in the air quality industry. For more information about IAQA, visit their site here.

ASHRAE - American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers

ASHRAE is an American professional organization seeking to advance HVAC-R systems design and construction. There are more than 57,000 members in over 132 countries worldwide. The society funds research projects, offers continuing education programs, and develops and publishes technical standards to improve building services engineering, energy efficiency, indoor air quality and sustainable development.

WBENC - Women's Business Enterprise National Council

ACIA is certified as both a National Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) and a Women Owned Small Business (WOSB) through the WBENC. These certifications can assist with any supplier diversity initiatives your company may need to comply with.

COSTARS

COSTARS is the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s cooperative purchasing program and serves as a conduit through which registered and eligible local public procurement units and state affiliated entities are able to leverage contracts established by DGS to cost-effectively and efficiently identify suppliers with whom to do business. ACIA is a long term COSTARS contract holder under contract 008-002
