Indoor Air Quality Testing

Indoor Air Quality Testing

The Airborne Contamination Identification Associates (ACIA) staff includes Certified Indoor Air Quality Professionals (CIAQPs), who are trained to sample indoor air quality (IAQ), interpret IAQ tests and measurements, analyze sources of IAQ pollutants and make recommendations on how to prevent, resolve and mitigate IAQ problems.

Because we own our equipment, we can respond to most requests within a few hours. An independent third-party laboratory processes our samples to eliminate bias in the results and recommendations.

Whether for Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) compliance, an IAQ evaluation or a product defect evaluation, ACIA will provide a complete report of findings along with recommendations to resolve discovered issues.

Indoor Air Quality Testing Process

Our standard sampling consists of monitoring and reporting on the following items:

  • Bioaerosols (such as fungi, bacteria and viruses)
  • Particulate count and size classification
  • Carbon monoxide
  • Carbon dioxide
  • Temperature
  • Relative humidity

In addition to our standard air quality evaluations, ACIA provides a wide array of additional indoor air quality testing services.

Whether you are trying to determine the cause of a certain product defect or you need verification that employees are breathing safe air under OSHA standards, ACIA can help.
